The Cluster Club Project focuses on nautical and shipbuilding sectors including the supply chain of plastic, rubber, metal, wood and textiles. The main aim of the project is to accelerate the reinforcement of the cluster system as well as the creation of new clusters with particular attention to the building of a SME network involving Public administration, institutes of research and associations.
The project will also improve the innovation possibilities of territorial and productive systems in the Adriatic area through cooperation, business activities and market research.
The international partnership, composed of 15 partners coming from 6 different Countries ( Italy, Greece, Croatia, Bosnia – Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania ) identified the following specific objectives:
- Provide technical assistance in the creation and development of clusters and other types of associations in Candidate Countries (CC) and Potential Candidate Countries ( PCC);
- Exchange information and procedures to develop production processes coherent with EU qualitative and safety standards Define common services and strategies to promote cross border cooperation;
- Increase cooperation between chambers of commerce, development agencies, research institutions and other economic actors in order to identify new business opportunities and institutional cooperation;
- Overcome obstacles through the development of initiatives which promote and support cooperation among SMEs, clusters and research, innovation and training institutions;
- Creation of a co-operative network between clusters, associations and networks connected to the nautical and shipbuilding sectors.
- Mapping and identification of the industrial clusters of the nautical sector including the supply chain with particular attention to the wood, mechanics, plastic, rubber, metal and textiles sectors;
- develop new business opportunities by organizing business to business (B2B) and business to credit (B2C) meetings and other promotional initiatives
